Natural Remedies Sheet

This is the natural remedies sheet that is given clients and reffered to in the lectures.

Charcoal Poultice

  • 1 TBSP of charcoal
  • 1 TSP of Psyllium Husk or 1 TBSP of freshly ground flaxseed
  • Mix in a deep cup with a fork
  • Add 2 TBSP of water
    • (You can add colloidal silver, echinacea infusion, or another ingredient)
  • Mix with a fork for 1 minute
  • Lay out on a paper towel and spread with a fork
  • Apply to the skin
  • Secure with a plastic wrapper

Immune Remedy

  • Prepare 6-10 cloves of garlic (adjust for strength)
  • Peel and cut small, bruising them well, and let them rest together for 10 minutes (to activate allicin)
  • Boil 4 cups of water
  • Pour boiling water into a blender
  • Add:
    • ¼ to ½ of a purple onion (adjust size based on onion size)
    • The prepared garlic cloves
    • ¼ cup of honey
    • 4 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice
    • A pinch of cayenne
    • (Optional) 3 drops of peppermint essential oil (to mask flavor)
  • Blend well
  • Mix 1:1 with water and drink throughout the day

Hot and Cold (Hydrotherapy)

  • Start with hot water in the shower
  • Alternate:
    • 3 minutes hot (neck down, as hot as you can tolerate)
    • 1 minute cold (as cold as you can tolerate)
  • Repeat 3 times
  • (Optional) Get into bed under heavy blankets and sweat for 1 hour

Charcoal Water for Eye Drops

  • 1 TBSP of charcoal
  • 8 oz of steam-distilled, reverse osmosis, or charcoal-filtered water
  • Mix well with a spoon
  • Filter three times using a double-layered paper towel, washing the cups between each filtering
  • Pour into a dropper bottle
  • Use in eyes 3 times daily

Garlic Oil Drops

  • Peel 3 cloves of garlic, cut small, and bruise well
  • Let them rest together for 10 minutes (to activate allicin)
  • Place garlic in a small glass container
  • Add 2 TBSP of extra virgin olive oil
  • Cover and let stand for 3 hours
  • Filter into a dropper bottle
  • Use 2-3 drops in the ear while lying sideways for 10-15 minutes

Alternative Method

  • Warm a garlic clove over a fire
  • Nip the end of the garlic clove
  • Drip olive oil onto the garlic clove
  • Place garlic clove into the ear while lying sideways for 10-15 minutes

Hot Foot Bath (Hydrotherapy)

  • Place feet in a container with water covering the ankles
  • Start with 15 minutes of hot water (around 101°F)
  • Add more hot water every 5 minutes
  • Finish by pouring ice water over feet and drying

Charcoal Gargles

  • 8 oz of water in a glass cup
  • Add 1 TBSP of charcoal, mix well
  • Gargle over the sink for at least 1 minute before spitting

Golden Seal Rinse

  • 8 oz of water in a glass cup
  • Open and add 2 golden seal capsules, mix well
  • Swish in the mouth for 1 minute before spitting
  • (Note: It will be bitter; you may swallow if the throat is affected)

Infusion – Full Strength with Dry Herbs

  • Boil 2 cups (1 pint) of water
  • Place 1 oz of dried herbs in a glass or stainless steel container
  • Pour boiling water over the herbs
  • Cover with a glass or ceramic plate
  • Let steep for at least 1 hour (preferably 2-3 hours for better concentration)
  • Strain and drink in the morning and evening 30 minutes before meals

Fever (Hydrotherapy)

  • If temperature is over 101°F:
    • Keep a cool towel on the forehead and press over the temples (important)
    • Change the towel every 5 minutes
  • If fever is very high:
    • Apply a cold compress over the heart for 15 minutes

Pain Management (Hydrotherapy)

  • Apply a cold compress to the affected area for 15 minutes or until the body warms it up, then reapply
  • For severe pain:
    • Apply a cold compress to the spine for 15 minutes

Honey Eye Drops

  • Boil ¼ cup of steam-distilled, reverse osmosis, or charcoal-filtered water
  • Turn off heat and wait 3 minutes
  • Add ¼ cup of Manuka or raw honey (unheated and unprocessed, pure and contamination-free)
  • Mix well
  • Pour into a dropper bottle (should fill about two 2-oz bottles)
  • Let cool for 1 hour
  • Use 3 times daily in the eyes

Saline Rinse

  • Pour 1 cup (8 oz) of lukewarm steam-distilled, reverse osmosis, or charcoal-filtered water into a container
  • Add:
    • ½ tsp of pink salt (iodide-free)
    • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • Mix well
  • Put into a nasal rinse bottle
  • Apply to each nostril equally over the sink

Infusion with Tea Bags

  • Boil 1 cup of water
  • Place 4 tea bags of dried herbs into a tea cup
  • Cover with a glass or ceramic plate
  • Let steep for at least 1 hour (preferably 2-3 hours for better concentration)
  • Strain and drink in the morning and evening 30 minutes before meals
